Heading back to the country, going to places I have never been to which is interesting. Found two STARS, was a fun day for all; the STARS were so into it. One bad note, at one point I figured the flies were going to pick me up and carry me away.

This was the smoothest episode of Be Real I have ever worked on. Perth is one of my favorite places in the world… I used to go to camp close to there, and one night we went to town for dinner, and we all climbed the water tower for a better view… YIKES! Anyway, we found our stars quickly, and they were lovely! We went back to their house, and have minimal location changes (which is music to my ears). The only problem is that JR called me a PA on camera, WHICH I AM NOT! I haven’t been a PA in 10 years… and then he denied it… so we showed him the playback, and he owes me $5.00… which I still haven’t received L

Perth!!!! The prettiest town in Ontario!!  It was great walking around looking for a star in Perth. The weather was nice and the crew seemed to be feeling the town of Perth. JR had me cracking up early in the morning. We were running into some interesting people while wandering the streets. Some kids wanted to beat each other up on camera, but that didn’t pan out. We met these great ‘down to earth’ country girls that were so funny together. I drove around with them in their truck and sat in the middle between the two. No complaints. The stars husband was more than awesome. I think he might be one of my favorite talents so far. We just chilled with them as they did there usual evening events, have some dinner and drinks, then a little dip in the hot tub. At some point of the evening I was laughing so hard at what was being caught on camera. My low light of the evening was stepping in dog poop. I think someone caught it on camera.

“Day of the Bites”. Tonight we shot at a mosquito farm. They had standing water everywhere. I literally balanced the camera on my shoulder so I could kill bugs with my hands. Give me 28% deet any day. These cutesy "Skintastic" products are useless.

Oh ya a couple more drinks in our on-camera talent, could've shot some soft core porn.

Hot Tub! We hit he streets of Perth today in search of our reality star du jour. The self proclaimed prettiest town in all of Ontario was humid as all hell today. We ended up finding some fab country girls who were budding entrepreneurs down by a German restaurant. Once again I was devoured by evil mosquitoes. I love all the different kinds of people I meet on the street with this show. JR is so amazing at talking to anyone he meets too; just able to naturally make them laugh or put them at ease even if he is half making fun of them! I really liked these ladies and their husbands and boyfriends were awesome. They were so sweet and in love with their partners it really gives a girl some hope after all! They had a wicked awesome hot tub and were so genuinely happy that it kind of rubbed off on you. I hope you both do amazing if you are reading this :)

The people are friendly in Perth.  The city is very pretty, true to its nickname.  We met one guy who had no teeth.

It was fantastic meeting Sally and Sue, our stars...the crew kept getting their names mixed up.  When JR wanted me to "fire" Sue (or was it Sally?) I thought that was a little harsh...she stayed for a while longer but it all worked out in the end anyway.  My most lasting memory of Perth is tying various Bounce sheets to crew members because I read somewhere it keeps mosquitoes away.  Those industrial strength 'skeeters in Perth scoffed at us.  We were eaten alive!

OK. Can it get any better than this? This is one of those shoots that I feel energized at the end of. The director was on, the crew was in sync and what really was happening below the surface in that hot tub?

“Sue and Sally” These two ladies had taken a business course and they and the rest of the team building group were celebrating.  After watching them get their awards we followed them to the Pool & Spa place were they had to pick up a chair for their spa. Then it proceeded to a trip to “The Beer Store” where I was locked in the truck …thanks guys.

After arriving and meeting the family and friends,  Sue sent Sally home and other friends stopped by to jump in the hot tub and help relax for a good nights sleep.
